”Matryoshka Traditional Doll”
Matryoshka is a type of traditional Russian Doll, it’s unique as it consists of a set of wooden figures (usually from 5 up to 21) which can be pulled apart to reveal another figure of the same sort inside. Traditionally the nested doll is a woman, dressed in a sarafan, holding a rooster. Inside, it contains other figures that may be of both genders, usually ending in a baby that does not open and is so cute and may be as small as a corn. Sometimes it is considered to be a talisman for baby-birth, but recently a new kind of matryoshka (modern one J) has appeared with Dolls of Russian Political leaders or cartoon characters, so it will be a unique souvenir from Russia.

”Hohloma”
It is a name of Russian traditional craft – from eating irons to furniture. Hohloma is an ancient Russian folk handicraft, appeared in 17th century in Zavoljie. At first, the word Hohloma meant the name of one of the trade villages. Handcrafters from the nearest villages brought there their works. It was the end of 19th century when hohloma became very popular in Russia and abroad after unbelievable success at the International exhibition in Paris, and as the result export of hohloma to many countries rose fast. Nowadays Russian love hohloma items as they keep the warmth of traditions and bright colors will make every simple dinner very special. It is made of wood (birch and lime trees), covered by lacquer and drawn. Usually on a black o red groundwork there can be different bright drawings like strawberries, fruits and so on. The ancient art has its own secrets. For example, for drawing only brushes made from squirrel's tails and only organic paints are used.

”Amber Jewelry & Souvenirs”
Golden or green drops of fossilized tree resin are reminders of Russia, usually they are set in silver and you can enjoy wearing it as a nice necklace, earrings, broche, bracelets, and even cute souvenirs like key-holders are available. Some items have insects inside, but they are pretty expensive.

”Samovar”
A samovar is a heated metal container traditionally used to heat and boil water. Since the heated water is usually used for making tea, many samovars have an attachment on top of its lid to hold and heat a teapot filled with tea concentrate. Though traditionally heated with coal or charcoal, many newer samovars use electricity and heat water in a similar manner as an electric water boiler. Surely nowadays electric teapots are more common, but still there are families who enjoy getting together and making delicious tea where samovar is some kind of symbol of family reunion.
”Caviar”
Caviar is a luxury food famous all over the world and as there are some kinds of it you can find your favorite one. Out of 27 kinds of sturgeon fish, only three are really valued for their caviar: Beluga is the largest of sturgeon fishes, and its caviar is also the largest. The most rare and expensive beluga's caviar is appreciated for the size and buttery taste of the caviar grains (the color is from pale to dark gray). Osseter (sturgeon) caviar is a little less in size than beluga's and has a more straight taste (the color is from gold, which is very rare, to dark brown and almost black). Sevruga (stellate sturgeon) caviar is smaller in grain and has an intense, rich flavor (the color is from light to dark grey). This caviar is the most available and most respected by experts.

”Red caviar”
Red caviar is obtained from the roe of salmon fishes, processed with a saline solution with subsequent addition of preservatives. It has middle-sized grains of light orange color. Trout caviar has middle-sized firm grains, red in color, usually it is a little sticky and quite salty. Caviar of keta (dog salmon) is considered to be of the highest quality and taste of all kinds of salmon caviar. The grains are large, their color is closer to red. Caviar of red salmon, the most valuable kind of Far East salmon fishes, is valued for its distinctive piquant flavor, tender grains and bright color. Advantage of red caviar is that it is cheaper than black one, but it is not any less valuable in its taste and nutrition qualities.

”Gzhel”
Gzhel traditional craft bears the name of Gzhel village located in about 80 km from Moscow were it has appeared. It has a long history from the 14th century and the origin of this name is somehow connected with the verb zhech - "to fire, to burn". Gzhel handicraft is producing majolica pottery with blue drawings on white groundwork close to the folk style of "lubok": plates, pitchers, tea and coffee cups, saucers and other eating items. Minor sculptural forms are also of interest in Gzhel ceramic works. Though it is a traditional craft, it is still very popular and Gzhel kitchen items or decoration sculptures can be found almost in every Russian house.

”Cheburashka”
Cheburashka is a character in children's literature, from a 1965 story by the Russian writer Eduard Uspensky. According to the story, Cheburashka is a funny little animal, somelike between monkey and bear, unknown to science, who lives in the tropical forest. Cheburashka’s name means – “one, who tumbles down”. He feels lonely and is searching for identity. White Cheburashka was created as a mascot for Olimpic Games 2006 inTurin. Cheburashka is so cute and it will be a nice souvenir for both children and adults.
”Russian vodka”
Vodka is one of the world's most popular alcohol beverages. The classic Russian vodka is 40%. This can be attributed to the Russian standards for vodka production introduced in 1894 by Alexander III from research undertaken by the Russian chemist Dmitri Mendeleev. There are a lot of kinds of Vodka – “Russian standard”, “Stolichnaya”, “Moskovskaya” and others.
”Russian chocolate”
Almost all Russians have a sweet tooth and always eat some sweets when they enjoy their tea after main dishes. There are different kinds of it: from milk to dark, the most famous choco-brands are: “Babaevsky”, “Krasnii oktyabr” and others.
”Birchbark Souvenirs”(“Beresta”)
Birchbark is used all over Russia as one of the traditional decorative folk crafts. The packaging is hand-made of a birch tree bark (beresta), so every item has its own design. Boxes, hairpins, picture frames and other beautiful creations will be a good memory of Russia.
